Care Worker Training Centre

From our award winning and purpose built Care Worker Training Centre in Bangor Gwynedd, we are forever committed to providing a high quality service to the people we care, help and support at home.

Having held Investors in People & Leadership in Management status for over 13 years, Cymorth Llaw employees benefit from a dedicated environment of learning where they are able access the latest information in relation to their job role and focus on the development of  key skills needed to deliver quality care at home.

Care Worker Training & Development

Training with Cymorth Llaw is mandatory under the terms and conditions of employment. The Company also supports staff with registration of its front line workforce with Social Care Wales (SCW) which is mandatory following 6 months of employment.

All employees who work in direct care roles (Care Workers) complete common induction standards training, (in line with Continuing Professional Development) that is of the highest possible standard. This is completed in the form of certificated training or awards of learning.

Care Workers complete a specifically designed in-house training program that is relevant to their job role. Staff are supported and given every opportunity to pursue professional qualifications in Health & Social Care (Diplomas levels 2, 3 and above). Staff achieve diploma level qualifications whilst working.

Cymorth Llaw employees  receive tuition that goes beyond that required to meet national minimum standard. Staff also receive further/additional/specialist training, helping them to be at the forefront of service provision in North Wales.
